Marie Antoinette
Shaun and I went to see Marie Antoinette today.
It was pretty and the soundtrack was really good. I had a good time. And it's always fun to be able to explain the historical basis for things to Shaun after we see a movie. It makes me feel clever.
One of the low points was when this girls cell phone rang. And she answered it. And then later it rang again. And she answered it. She was there alone. There were also a couple of old men who were alone. And two loud girls who were together. And Shaun, and I.

Isn't it amazing how people in the theatre can take so much away from the movie? I always get so irritated by those who have no concern for others around them...

any time i've asked about this movies the answers have all been. "it's pretty." and the soundtrack rules. i would have screamed at the cell phone lady. it's other people that make me not want to go to the movies.
My boyfriend went and talked to her the first time she answered the phone and asked her to take it outside. She got off the phone, and my boyfriend was in the bathroom the next time it rang and she got off before he came back. I think just talking to someone who is noisy is usually enough to embarrass them into quietness. Unless they're completely uncivilized, which, they're on their phone in the movies, so you can't say much for them in the first place.
